The Tumor Cell Genetics research group

The Tumor Cell Genetics research group is part of the section Cytogenetics within the department of Human Genetics.

The main goals of the Tumor Cell Genetics research group are to unravel the role of genomic aberrations in the development of familial (hereditary) and non-familial forms of cancer, with primary focus on soft tissue sarcomas, colorectal carcinomas and hematopoietic malignancies, including the development and implement novel technologies such as microarray-based genomic profiling and next generation sequencing.
