The Department of Human Genetics of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre treats and investigates hereditary diseases of patients and their families.
The patient care and genetic diagnostics performed within our department is hosted by an official and acclaimed Centre for Clinical Genetics.
The department also performs groundbreaking research into the relationship between genes and diseases. Genetic factors involved in cancer, deafness and blindness, mental handicaps and congenital anomalies are studied.
